REC Networks is not promoting the 2026 Grassroots Radio Conference out of concerns for the personal safety of some attendees due to the event being held in a very hostile jurisdiction, which in some cases, can lead to the arrest of people utilizing certain public accommodations as well as due to the threat of being the victim of politically motivated violent acts.
As an alternative to the GRC, REC is recommending attendance at the Avant Radio Fest. This radio conference will be held in Jersey City, NJ on November 13~15, 2026. We note that these dates are during the 2026 NCE Reserved Band FM Translator Filing Window.
