Broadcast Supply Worldwide (BSW) has signed an agreement allowing it to bring Lawo’s radio production and broadcast infrastructure solutions to stations across the United States. This includes integrated packages built around Lawo’s IP-based workflow technology.

The demonstration is intended to show real-world applications for virtualized EAS and shows a complete transmission chain flow featuring a pair of OPTIMOD 5950 HD, with analog FM plus HD-1, HD-2, HD-3 and HD-4 feeding an exporter/exporter and exciter into a dummy load.

Boston-based Backbone Broadcast is preparing to introduce a refreshed product at the 2026 NAB Show that offers what it describes as "a self-contained, cloud-connected digital radio network," one that is immersive and low-latency during live events, a key tech need for broadcasters.

The product allows radio stations to monitor up to 25 devices — including transmitters, STL links, audio codecs, sound processors, modulation monitors, networking equipment, and environmental sensors — through a secure cloud-based dashboard.
