Following a brief protest of Chairman Carr, the FCC on Tuesday advanced a NPRM that would start the Commission’s quadrennial regulatory review of its broadcast ownership rules and seek public comment on whether — given the current state of the media marketplace — it should retain, modify, or eliminate any of these rules.

A half-day full of sessions of particular appeal to more than 150 C-suite executives and senior leaders from across the broadcast TV and media industry is being finalized for the 2025 TVB Executive Summit, scheduled for October 9 at Hearst Tower on West 57th Street.
