An arm of the publicly traded broadcast TV station ownership group led by President/CEO Chris Ripley has agreed to pay thousands of dollars to a group of plaintiffs who sued Sinclair and several of its broadcast TV peers in October 2018. They filed antitrust claims linked to alleged price fixing for advertising.

The NAB is relocating the "TV and Radio HQ" from the West Hall to a "new, highly visible location." The other big news? the Small and Medium Market Radio Forum will take place on Sunday, April 19, "positioning it at the start of NAB Show when the full broadcast community is on site."

There's a new individual who has been tasked with overseeing radio stations in 30 markets across the South, Southwest and Texas for iHeartMedia. It's someone who served as Head of Sales Enablement and Business Development at the broadcast TV company that hopes to be acquired by Nexstar.

It is now known how much NRG Media will be earning from two sales, one involving a five-station deal with Usher Media and another that sees an FM become a Nebraska Public Media noncomm. An LMA went into effect on Tuesday for the properties Alan Usher's group is obtaining from Mary Quass's company.
