The company behind the local content-focused Zeam OTT platform has inked a fresh distribution deal with LG. It's an agreement that brings the Zeam Media platform to millions of smart TVs across the U.S. 

The FCC's Enforcement Bureau is terminating its investigation and resolving a Notice of Apparent Liability for Forfeiture handed to a Randolph, Mass., individual for unlicensed FM radio broadcasts on two different frequencies. It is doing so by entering into a Consent Decree that involves a small civil penalty and a much bigger default fine.

The Northern Virginia-headquartered broadcast television company led by CEO Mike Steib and CFO Julie Heskett has proven that it is one of the industry's strongest players. How it performed in Q2 2025 will be revealed in early August. 

The FCC has released its broadcast station totals for the second quarter of 2025, reflecting the three-month period ending June 30. The biggest takeaway? Another significant increase in noncommercial FM radio stations was seen, as both commercial AM and FM totals experienced a decrease.

The NAB Leadership Foundation (NABLF)'s 2025 Broadcast Leadership Training (BLT) program has concluded, with a graduation held in June for the executive MBA-style educational learning opportunity.

A Senior Fellow of an independent, non-profit free market-oriented think tank founded in 2006 has taken pen to paper to alert the FCC and its Chairman, Brendan Carr, that it best refrain from reviving what it calls "social contracts" to address inefficiencies in the nation's video marketplace.
